Hello All! I thought I would share my first attempt at my own creation, Carrot Cake Protein Bars! I honestly wasn’t sure how these would go, but I’m pleased to say that I’m now obsessed! I’m really excited to have a healthy snack for the afternoon at work today, that lull time of the day when energy levels start to falter, well NOT TODAY!
These are incredibly easy and inexpensive to make. One batch will give you approximately 20 squares, each square is about 48 cals, 6 grams of protein, 0.7 grams of fat, and 4 grams of carbs. Oh and they’re Paleo Approved!
Ready to try these badboys out?! Ingredients:
1 cup coconut flour
2 scoops Plant-Based Protein (I used vanilla bean flavour, but any type of protein should work. Vanilla tastes the best though, IMO)
